Wadilube Installation, the backbone of Lubes SBU has been certified for Integrated Management System namely ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001: 2007 by the reputed certifying body M/s Intertek after an exhaustive audit and process improvements.  Mr. S.Ramesh ED (Lubes) handed over this integrated certificate to Mr. Vijay Kharche Plant Manager, Wadilube in presence of Mr. S.B.Bhattacharya GM (Mktg), Mr. Suresh Nair SCM (Head) and all HOD’s of Wadilube during the Annual Lubes Supply Chain Meet at Lonavala on 13^th Dec’09.  He also released all the controlled copies of the documents during this occasion. Yet another milestone achievement for Wadilube as it is the first marketing location in BPCL to achieve this coveted status.  The above certification process had started from Apr’09 and with the concerted team effort could establish correct procedures for all the key processes and successfully completed the 1^st & 2^nd stage audits by Oct’09 end. This certification is valid till 30^th Nov’2012 with annual surveillance audits.

ISO 9001:2008 (Revised w.e.f Nov. 09) is Quality Management System,  ISO 14001:2004 is Environment Management System and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Revised from a specification to Standard since Dec – 07) is Occupational Health & Safety Management System.  Few of the salient features of this certification are Measurable Quality objectives, Process monitoring criteria, Operational Control Procedures, Involvement of people, Aspect/Impact and hazard/Risk identification, Emergency Preparedness Plans, Identification and compliance-review of each of the statutory, regulatory & interested party’s requirements.
