Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited won the Boston Strategies Internationals 2009 Oil, Gas & Energy Industries Award for Excellence in Supply Chain Synchronization !

The award was presented in a glittering function held in Dubai on 18th Oct 2009 where in Head-SCM, Shri K.Suresh Nair and V.Y.Apte, Team member ERP CC received the award from Mr. David Jacoby, President of Boston Strategies International.

SCM team had applied for the award based on the KPIs in Lubes Supply Chain. Boston evaluation team had conducted an in-depth global supply chain benchmark study in which diverse companies responded from countries as widespread as Australia, Fiji, Germany, India, Italy, Nigeria, Norway, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the United States.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited was a performance leader in several supply chain synchronization metrics. This award is the outcome of all the efforts of the team members in SCM team in improving the DFI month on month, improved forecast accuracy, lowest inventory of finished goods at the year end.
